Dzianis Sadouski will go on trial today

BChD’s press-secretary was detained at a polling station.

The trial will take place on 24 March.

Dzianis Sadouski was detained at the polling station number 53 of the Railways Constituency number 20. At first the electoral commission’s chairman and deputy chairman did not want to let him enter the polling station. However, after Sadouski promised to submit a complaint about their actions, he was not let to leave the polling station and had police called on him. Then Sadouski was taken to October district’s police department, BelaPAN reports.

It is unknown what exactly the proxy to the municipal council candidate Maksim Hacak is being charged with, but at the press-service of the organizational committee for creation of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy they point out that it is most likely the matter of disorderly conduct (article 17.1 of the Code on Administrative Conduct).
