Freedom Day in Minsk: “For our and your freedom!” (Video)

The anniversary of Belarusian People’s Republic proclamation was celebrated in Minsk.
On 25 March it was 96 years since Belarusian People’s Republic was proclaimed. Belarusian authorities do not recognize the date officially, but representatives of pro-democracy public celebrate it annually as Freedom Day.
Event on this festive occasion took place today in Belarus and abroad. This year the procession in Minsk was held under the slogan of solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Belarusians came to the manifestation carrying Ukrainian flags and ribbons, banners saying “Glory to Ukraine!”, “Russia is war”, “Death to the Kremlin occupants”, “For our and your freedom”.
By various estimations, 3 to 5 thousand people took part in the procession.
After the event detentions of the most active manifestation participants started.
