Dzmitry Dashkievich: 25 March is the greatest in the history of Belarusian people

Belarus will follow Ukraine in getting its freedom.

The statement was made by a co-chairman of the Young Front Dzmitry Dashkievich in an interview to the charter97.org web-site.

“I will not be mistaken if I say that 25 March is the greatest day in the history of Belarusian people. This is the day, when the dream of statehood came true. That is why we have such a festive mood today”, - the former political prisoner said.

The activist pointed out that today’s mass manifestation was taking place under the slogan of solidarity with Ukraine.

“It has been historically that Belarus and Ukraine had joint interests in the West and joint problems in the East. We all want for Ukrainian people to achieve freedom and justice. This will be of great significance for many countries and, beyond doubt, for Belarus”, - he is convinced.
