Activist of Radashkovichy sentenced to 5 days in custody for Freedom Day rally

Minsk's Zavadski district court sentenced Aliaksandr Blizniuk to five days in a detention facility.

Charetr97.org has learnt it from activist of European Belarus civil campaign Yulia Stsiapanava.

“The activist was charged with violating articles 17.1 and 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences (disorderly conduct and failure to obey lawful orders of an official on duty). He received three days under each article, but the whole term is five says in custody as a result of a partial addition. 'Witnesses' said Blizniuk had called to move to Lukashenka's residence,” she said.

The Zavadski district court also sentenced coordinator of European Belarus civil campaign Maksim Viniarski to 15 days in custody under the same charges.
