State Control Committee finds padded reports at collective farms in Homiel region

In Elsk, Kalinkavichy and October districts the padded reports at the local farms had up to 10% overstated data on milk, calculated against the yearly production volumes.

Such facts were revealed by the State Control Committee for Homiel region in the course of inspections, BelaPAN reports.

For example, at the Elsk collective farm 217 non-existent calves “drank” over 30 tons of full cream milk in June 2013 only. In total in 2013 the overstated data of gross output of milk at the Elsk collective farm accounted to over 400 tons. The workers of the agricultural organizations received salaries in the total amount of 62 million roubles for the non-existent volumes of milk.

Apart from that, in the course of the inspection of the Elsk collective farm were revealed the overstated additional weight data in cattle reports in the total amount of over 25 tons.

The inspection materials were sent to law enforcement agencies for the legal appraisal of the actions of the officials of the stated agricultural organizations.

Now inspections continue at the region’s agricultural organizations. By State Control Committee’s preliminary data, the overstated reports there are no less than the ones mentioned.
