PACE begins hearing on suspending the voting right of the Russian delegation.
Iryna Gerashchenko, a member of the Ukrainian delegation and UDAR MP, wrote it on Facebook.
“It's notable that none members of Russia's State Duma, who were blatantly lying about Ukraine yesterday, can be seen. The Russian delegation walked out and ran away from its public beating,” she wrote.
“They were leaving the hotel with their suitcases in the morning. They are not walking proudly here today,” pravda.com.ua quotes the politician.
“A little but important thing – let the earth burn under the feet of occupants, let disgrace follow them in all corners of the world, let them feel the scorn of all normal people every minute,” she wrote.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe condemned Russia for the annexation of Crimea and wants to suspend the voting right of Russia. The PACE will consider disciplinary sanctions on Russia on April 10.
