Ukraine Prosecutor General’s office have brought charges against the “president of South-East”

Criminal charges have been brought against former chairman of Luhansk region’s court of appeal Anatoliy Vizir.

The news comes from the press-service of Ukraine Prosecutor General’s office.

“According to the press-service, an investigator of the Ukraine Security Service’s department for Luhansk region put down in the single registry of pre-trial investigations the information with preliminary qualification of criminal violations under part 3 of the article 109 of the Criminal Code (actions, aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power), under part 1 of the article 110 (encroachments on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability) and under part 1 of the article 353 (unauthorized appropriation of power credentials or a rank of an official)”.

We would remind that yesterday Anatoliy Vizir proclaimed himself the “president of South-East Ukraine”.

We would remind that starting from 6 April Russian subversive groups and local separatists started systematic seizures of the buildings of administrations in Ukraine’s eastern regions, as well as police and security service buildings, which attract the commandoes with the armouries.

In response Ukraine’s authorities took the decision to start an anti-terrorism operation in the country’s eastern regions. Troops and military equipment have been deployed in Donbas.
