Zmitser Dashkevich: Lukashenka is Arch Enemy of Belarus’ independence

Now the Kremlin keeps the Belarusian dictator at a very short chain.
It has been stated in an interview to charter97.org by a co-chairman of the Young Front organisation Zmitser Dashkevich.
“Most regrettably, there is a threat to Belarus’ independence. First of all, it lies in Lukashenka’s being kept at a very short chain by the Kremlin. And it is confirmed by the statements of support to the annexation of Crimea and Russian troops’ presence in Belarus. So for today it is completely realistic that if desired, and in case of Lukashenka’s secret deal with the Kremlin, Belarus would be annexed in a matter of few days, like Crimea,” he is convinced.
The former political prisoner believes that only one’s civic and national stand could be opposed to that.
“Privately, I call upon every Belarusian to speak Belarusian. One can start with a few words a day, as we cannot show armed resistance today. That’s why in order to defend independence we have nothing else to do but to unite on a national and spiritual foundation,” Zmitser Dashkevich stresses.
