The head of Ukraine’s MFA calls the shooting in Slavyansk a provocation.
Arsen Avakov spoke of that yesterday during his visit to the country’s eastern regions, LigaBusinessInform reports.
According to the minister, the shooting at the separatists’ roadblock could have been a framed-up provocation intended to discredit Ukrainian authorities and accuse them of wrecking the Geneva agreements.
In the town of Slavyansk in Donetsk region an armed confrontation took place between two groups of citizens at a roadblock on 20 April around 3 a.m. As a result one to three people died. Several participants of the shoot-out got gunshot wounds. The injured were taken to a hospital.
