Maksim Viniarski will stand trial.
As charter97.org has learnt, Maksim Viniarski was detained near his home close to the Korona hypermarket. Police officers said he looked like a man on the wanted list. The activist was taken to a police station and charged with “failure to obey legal orders of police officers” (article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences).
The activist and his lawyer are in the Frunzenski district court. Viniarski says the possible reason for the detention is the Chernobyl Way rally scheduled for April 26.
