Policemen seize T-shirt “Lukashenka, go away”

Activist Yury Rubtsou was taken to the Savetski district court without his T-shirt.

Charter97.org has learnt it from the people, who came to support the participants of the Chernobyl Way rally, which had been permitted by the city authorities.

“Yury Rubtsou was taken to the court stripped to the waist. The T-shirt 'Lukashenka, go away' was seized after he had been detained. He spent the night without his T-shirt in a cold cell,” opposition activists say.

Six participants of the Chernobyl Way rally were detained in Minsk on April 26. All of them were taken to a detention centre in Akrestsin Street. Their cases are heard by the Savetski district court today.

Judges sentence them to short terms in custody.
