Russians to practice assault landing in Belarus

The drills will take place on April 15 – April 18.
They will be held in accordance with the Russian Defence Ministry’s international activity plan for 2014, Espresso TV reports.
Colonel Lieutenant Yevgeny Meshkov, an official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defence's press service for the airborne forces, said to journalists that active phase of the maneuvers and fire exercises of Belarusian airmobile units and airborne assault units of the Russian Airborne Forces would be held at the Losvida firing range in the Vitebsk region.
Russian paratroopers plan to have airborne assault exercises. The Belarusian and Russian troops have had joint maneuvers close to the Ukrainian and Polish borders for the last two months.
