Zakopane hotel denies accommodation for “Russian invaders”

A hotel in Zakopane, a popular ski resort in Poland, denies checking for Russian citizens because of Crimea annexation.

The executive director of Diamond’s Rzemieślnik hotel ordered to put up a Polish and Ukrainian flags on the central balcony of the hotel, an economic portal Forsal.pl informs.

“There will be no place for Russians here ever. As long as 90% of Russians support the current president, especially in the issue of Crimea, our hotel would extend no hospitality to them,” Pyotr Zyharski stated.

The executive director noted that it was not an easy solution, as there are so many Russian tourists in Zakopane each year.

“It would be hard, but we are going to achieve good results in a different way. And as Russians wanted to tear away Crimea so much, let them go there to have rest,” he added.
