Separatists control 15 administrative buildings in Donetsk region

In Donetsk region pro-Russian activists maintain control over the building of Donetsk regional administration, 7 town councils, 4 town police departments and 3 SBU headquarters (the Security Service of Ukraine).
It is informed by the press-service of the Interior Affairs Ministry of Ukraine in Donetsk region.
“Donetsk regional state administration remains seized, barricades around the building are constructed by the rebels. Armed men in camouflage hold Donetsk mayor’s office. The unknown are staying guard at the checkpoint and at each storey of the administrative building. The work of the mayor’s administration is not blocked. Town councils of Kramatorsk, Horlivka, Yenakiieve, Kostiantynivka, Khartsyzk, Mariupol and Makiivka, are also working in as per normal, however under a focused attention of the protesters,” the report reads.
Besides, city police departments and branches of the SBU in Slovyansk, Kramatorsk and Horlivka stay under control of armed gunmen.
On April 30 at 3 a.m. a group of armed people seized the Central City district department of Horlivka city police directorate. “The unknown stormed the building, got the military personnel out of the building and barricaded themselves inside the building,” the Interior Affairs Ministry noted.
More than 20 checkpoints have been put up in the roads of the region, their majority being concentrated in the towns of Slovyansk, Kramatorsk and Makiivka.
We remind that today the acting president of the country Oleksandr Turchynov admitted that the central government does not control the situation in eastern Ukraine.
