Lukashenka is ready to “work” for Russia in Ukraine

The ruler confessed that he does not make a single move without agreeing it with Moscow first.

“Remember that: whatever I do now, speaking with Ukraine, the West, the East etc., if we touch upon Russia, I do not make a single move without agreeing it with the leadership of the Russian Federation”, - Lukashenka claimed in Minsk on Friday meeting the governor of Kaluga region Anatoliy Artamonov, Interfax reports.

According to the Belarusian dictator, due to the “recent events around Russia and Belarus” many allegations and insinuations emerged.

“The latest allegations are saying that Lukashenka is trying to use the problems, that Russia has faced, to his benefit”, - he explained.

“I am giving a direct and clear response to that: if Russia needs for us to work for them in Ukraine, we will do that, if Russia needs for us to go far-far away for its benefit, we will do that”, - Lukashenka emphasized. “That is because a) this is to the benefit of our brother, b) this is to the benefit of Belarus, this does not contradict our interests”, - he explained.

At the same time he noted that “he would be an idiot, who did not use certain opportunities”.

We would remind that over a period of the past two month several joint rounds of military exercise of Belarus and Russia took place in the territory of Belarus. Part of them took place at Ukraine’s borders. Apart from that Lukashenka has recognized the fact of the occupation of Crimea.
