Switzerland limits possibility to circumvent “Ukrainian sanctions”

Switzerland has imposed measures which are to prevent bypassing international sanctions impose in connection with the events in Ukraine.

It has been announced by the official website of the government, EU plus informs.

According to reports, since April 2 new contracts with private persons and enterprises affected by the European sanctions, as well as companies working on their behalf or controlled by them, are banned.

Besides, all financial intermediaries of Switzerland should inform the Ministry of Economy in case they are already cooperating with such private persons and companies.

The list of persons subject to the sanctions is not given, however the list at the website of Swiss government includes the names of the illegitimate Prime Minister of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, the Spokesperson of the Supreme Rada of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, deputy chairman of Crimean Council of Ministers Rustam Temirgaliev, a former Fleet Commander-in-Chief Denis Berezovsky, the self-appointed mayor of Sevastopol Alexei Chaly, the newly appointed head of Crimean security service Petr Zima, an adviser of Crimean speaker Petr Zherebtsov, Vice Speaker of Crimean parliament Sergey Tsvetkov, as well as a number of Russian citizens, including the current Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, an adviser to Russian president Sergey Glazyev, Spokesperson of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin and others.
