Justice Ministry threatens to close United Civil Party

The Justice Ministry of Belarus has issued an official warning to the United Civil Party.

BelaPAN has been informed about that by the deputy chairman of the United Civil Party Leu Marholin.

No details are available so far. “But as far as I understand, the warning is related to the activities of the UCP during the local election campaign,” Marholin said.

Tomorrow, on April 8 at the noon, the chairman of the UCP Anatol Lyabedzka plans to hold a special press-conference on this occasion.

The UCP does not exclude that one of the next moves of the authorities could be actions for liquidation of the party.
