Torpedo-BelAZ players protest before match

The players delayed the match with Shakhtyor for 10 minutes.

Final matches of the 7th round of the Belarusian Premier League were held on May 11. BATE used its chance and replaced Dinamo Minsk in first place; Shakhtyor defeated Torpedo-BelAZ 2-0, Presball writes.

Zhodzina-based Torpedo-BelAZ delayed the game for 10 minutes protesting against delayed salaries. Dinamo Brest players protested in this way earlier.

“Delaying the match was a common decision of all players. The guys wanted to do it before the match with BATE, but we were asked to wait until the next game. The team was waiting, but we haven't seen any results. All are tired. We haven't received salaries since the beginning of the year. Bonuses were paid last year for the last time. It influences the performance and the psychological state. There are no minor things in football,” Torpedo's goalkeeper Vasil Khamutowski said.
