Myasnikovich wants to get rid of loss-making collective farms

He has stated that today during a consultation in Kruhlyanski regional executive committee on issues of development of the agribusiness, BelTA reporter informs.

Mikhail Myasnikovich demands to adopt decisions on improvement the economic situation, restructuring of loss-making agricultural enterprises and enterprises with too many loans (where short-term financial commitments exceed revenues), in the in the soonest possible time, before May 27. There could be different forms of organisational change – from rehabilitation and restructuring process to reorganization of loss-making organisations and sale of loss-making entities to investors.

As said by the prime-minister, the government has created a package of measures with the aim to improve the work of the agricultural sector, in addition several draft decrees of Lukashenka have been prepared. In particular, these documents envisage steps for restructuring old indebtedness of agricultural organisations. It is to be done in order to make mergers trouble-free for the organisation which takes upon itself the problems of the organisation which is mergered.
