Closed sitting of Verkhovna Rada starts

A closed sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine started.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, an issue “On hearing information of officials due to carrying out of the antiterrorist operation in East of Ukraine and destabilization of the situation in South of Ukraine” will be considered at the sitting.

It is also planned to consider issue on carrying out of all-Ukrainian consultative poll on May 25, 2014 and financing of this issue.

Moreover, lawmakers will consider issue on improvement of defense-mobilization issues while carrying out of mobilization.

The parliament is about to consider a draft law on introducing amendments into article 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection”.
