Investigation Committee hunts for UCP activist

Police steps up control over activists of the United Civil Party ahead of the Ice Hockey World Championship.

On May 6 two representatives of the Investigation Committee visited Zmitser Kavalhin, the press-service of the United Civil Party reports.

“Two officers of the IC came to me in the afternoon. They presented themselves in this way to my mom. They were looking for me and they wanted “just to have a talk,” Zmitser Kavalhin said. “To the question whether I had committed any crime, their answer was “No”. But they wrote down the number of my mobile phone before they left.”

We remind that in the run-up to the Ice Hockey World Championship about 30 opposition activists have been preventively detained and imprisoned.
