Another BATE fan arrested

The police continue a “mopping-up operation” ahead of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk.

The website barysau.by reports that the police detained a friend of Aliaksandr Marozau, the leader of the local fan group. The name of the detainee is unknown. The man has no previous convictions. It's possible that the police carry out a “mopping-up operation” among football fans with anti-government moods ahead of the ice hockey championship in Minsk.

Aliaksandr Marozau was arrested earlier on far-fetched accusations ahead of the opening of Borisov-Arena. He was sentenced to 10 days in custody.
