Belarus introduces electronic passenger registration for Minsk-Vilnius train

The Belarusian Railways introduced electronic passenger registration for the Minsk-Vilnius train service on 1 June.

BelTA learned it from the Belarusian Railways's press center.

The electronic registration service is available for trains of the regional lines which run within Belarus, all direct Russia-Belarus trains and the Minsk-Riga train service.

The press center noted that the Belarusian rail operator and the Lithuanian Railways "elaborated an easy transfer option" from Minsk to Klaipeda via Vilnius. Thus, passengers are offered a convenient transfer from train No. 805 Minsk-Vilnius train to train No. 781 Vilnius-Klaipeda, which goes to the Baltic Sea resort areas.
