Lukashenka's propagandist works for Russian fascists

An odious journalist of the Belarusian television now lies to the Russian audience, too.

Television propagandist Yauheni Novikau, who has been trying to brainwash the Belarusians for many years, now works for the Russian neo-Nazies, Nasha Niva reports. Below is his latest programme:

It follows the pattern of his earlier programme “Human Rights: A Look at the World” that hsa been aired on the Belarusian television for many years. Yauheni Novikau still doesn't tell the truth in the programme “Slavic News” on the internet channel kramola.info.

In particular, Lukashenka's propagandists says Olekdandr Turchynov allegedly called Donbas residents “subhumans”, though the latter has never said so. Yauheni Novikau says Ukrainian troops and “western mercenaries” allegedly attack Donetsk and Luhansk by fire, though there have been no shooting attacks in the cities. He also claims Ukraine has suspended gas transit to Europe, though he knows perfectly the deliveries continue.

The aim of his programme is to stir up hatred for the Ukrainians, European countries and the US.

Yauheni Novikau calls on Russia to send its troops to the Donbas region. He also thinks Belarus should support Moscow in this initiative.

The internet channel that gives Yauheny Novikau a platform for his works is called kramola.info. The letters “ra” in its title are placed against the swastika formed by flames. One of the latest programmes of the channel is “Swastika as a symbol of Russian folk culture”. Like other programmes there, it promotes neo-Nazism.

Yauheni Novikau works for the Belarusian State Television and Radio Company. His programme “Human Rights: A Look at the World” is aired on TV, and programme “Belarus and the World. A Look from Minsk” can be heard on the radio. The programme is broadcast to the US, Canada, Cenrral, Eastern and Western Europe, Australia, Central and Eastern Asia twice a week. It is marked with an aggressive anti-western rhetoric, while the events in Belarus always receive positive reviews. From time to time he faces defamation accusations, for example, from the Embassy of France, the Embassy of Poland and ordinary Minsk residents.
