Babruisk on strike

17

The market in Babruisk looks like in a film about a neutron bomb: empty buildings and no people at all.

As their colleagues from other Belarusian towns, sole traders of Babruisk did not work on July 1, because they cannot fulfil the requirements of Lukashenka's decree 222, blogger Dzmitry Rastayeu writes.

“If nothing changes in the nearest days, you will see it every day,” sole traders say adding that it is not a threats or a whim. They say the authorities drove them into a corner.
