“As of 1 August 2014 256 more kilometers of highways will be included into the electronic toll system. As a result of the second stage of the BelToll system expansion electronic payment will be charged at certain segments of the highways M5 Minsk-Homiel, M6 Minsk-Hrodna, M7 Minsk-Lithuanian border and P1 Minsk-Dzierzhynsk. The total length of the BelToll network will account to 1189 kilometers”, - the message says.

Also the number of the client service points will be increased, where one can get registered with the BelToll system, rent an an-board device and top-up the account.

“The expansion of the toll highway network is being performed in accordance with the schedule of the government of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of the first expansion in January 2014 the toll highway network grew by 118 km, now another 256 km have been included into the network. We expect that another system expansion will lead to the growth of the number of registered transport units by approximately 10-15%. Thus, their total number will reach 200000 units”, - was the comment of the BelToll representatives.
