Dictator wants television for $5,000

A tender for a television for the dictator's residence was opened.

As charter97.org has learnt, the tender to buy an LCD television for the “administrative building within Arlouskaya Street – Winners Avenue – the Svislach River” (Palace of Independence – notice by charter97.org) was offered on the official procurement website of the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study.

The TV should meet the following requirements: display size: 65 inches; resolution: 3840х216; viewing angle: 178˚ Vert., 178˚ Hor.; 4хHDMI, 3хUSB ports; wi-fi; black colour. A similar television is Samsung EU65F9000, which costs about 5,000 dollars.

The purchase will be funded from the local budget. The tender was opened by the capital construction department of the Minsk city executive committee.
