White-red-white flag in Brest city center

Civic activists celebrated the anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty.

A white-red-white flag, which is banned by the incumbent authorities and was an official state symbol of independent Belarus, was hanged out at a lively crossroads in Brest city center.

The charter97.org web-site learnt about that from the participants of the event, who sent the pictures to the editorial staff.
