Belavia delays flight to Saint Petersburg for 6 hours

The passengers are not let out of the airport building and not even provided with potable water.

The charter97.org web-site learnt about that from a reader in the morning.

“The flight B2941 is being delayed at the National Minsk airport, the departure has been postponed 3 times already for 2 hours. No one is able to explain the reason for the delay to the passengers. No one gets let out of the building, they won’t provide any food or drinks, while there quite many children among the passengers”, - he writes.

A journalist of the charter97.org web-site addressed Belavia airlines for explanations.

“The delay of the flight is taking place due to the suspension of the plane for departure. New departure time has been set at 14:05. We do not know, whether the delay will be prolonged or not”, - an employee of the Belarusian national airlines said.
