Minsk customs officers seize Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

A citizen of Venezuela lost his car worth 2 billion Belarusian rubles.

Charter97.org learnt it from the press service of the Minsk regional customs office.

Officers of the Minsk regional customs office seized a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder owned by a citizen of Venezuela that was temporarily brought into the Customs Union.

Customs officers revealed that the period of the temporary admission expired. The Venezuelan citizen did not apply to the customs service with a request to prolong the admission period, and the car was not taken out of the Customs Union before the expiration of the period.

So, the Venezuelan citizen violated part 2 of article 14.7 of the Code of Administrative Offences of Belarus. The vehicle worth more than 2 million Belarusian rubles was seized.
