Pskov paratroopers went to Donbas after parade in Minsk

11:40, — Ukraine

The fighters of the Odessa Storm MIA battalion engaged into a fight with paratroopers from Pskov.

Exactly the paratroopers of the Pskov division took part in the parade in Minsk on 3 July, Nasha Niva reports.

The fight took place near the settlement of Heorviyevka, near Luhansk. Hromadske TV reports that Russian paratroopers attacked two Ukrainian roadblocks. Nevertheless, with the help of artillery and aviation Ukrainian troops fended off the attack and counter attacked, having seized two Russian APCs and shot down a tank. Several attackers were captured.

Soldiers of the Ukrainian army show the cockades of Pskov division paratroopers and claim they found a diary of a Russian soldier. They were at the parade in Belarus, then they all signed a contract. They understand that they are fighting in Ukraine, - one of the Ukrainian soldiers, who defended the roadblock, says. Pskov paratroopers are the little green men, who occupied Crimea and pushed the Ukrainian army out of it. In August Russias Defense Minister awarded the paratroopers division a Suvorov order for carrying out special tasks in Crimea.
