The Belarusian air carrier Belavia encourages passengers to arrive at the National Airport Minsk in advance on 26 August.
A meeting of heads of state of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, Ukraine, and high-ranking representatives of the European Union is scheduled to take place in Minsk on 26 August. The guests will arrive at and will depart from the National Airport Minsk. This is why for the duration of the day the operation of the country's top airport may be changed, Belavia's website reads.
Passengers are advised to take the fact into account and arrive at the airport in advance. “During the summit traffic in several streets in Minsk will be restricted, therefore, plan your route to the airport in advance and properly calculate your time,” the website reads.
