Teachers of secondary school No. 19 in Minsk complain about a delay in wages.
Charter97.org learnt it from a reader.
“My wife is a teacher at school No. 19 in Minsk. They have summer holidays and receive leave allowance, which is enough only to survive until the next payday. You have to count every ruble. It's worth noting that my wife resumed her work on August 1,” the reader wrote.
“The family hoped for August 15, when she was supposed to get her salary advance, but the accounting department says: 'We forget to submit the documents on time, so you'll receive your money later.'
Today is August 25, the pay day, but she and all teachers of the school didn't even receive the salary advance.
It's strange that no one from the accounting department and the personnel department was punished for the mistake as if nothing happened. That's the stable state-owned organisation and increased wages,” he added.
