Chinese military will be trained in Belarus

A delegation from China paid a working visit to Belarus on 22-25 August.
It was headed by the deputy head of the chief department for combat training of the General Headquarters of the People’s Liberation Army of the People’s Republic of China major-general Fan Bei Tsun. The main purpose of the visit was to sign a contract for training Chinese military at the State Education Establishment ‘Institute for Border Control Service of the Republic of Belarus’, BelaPAN.
During the visit the Chinese delegation met the chairman of the State Border Control Committee of Belarus colonel general Leanid Malcau. Issues of further cooperation of the two countries in the border control domain were discussed.
