Football fan detained at Barysau stadium for scarf with Pahonia coat of arms

16

Football fans figured out the name of a major involved in the incident. They are now trying to identify the steward.

Fan Siarhei Bakhun was detained at the stadium during the UEFA Champions League play-off second leg between BATE and Slovan Bratislava. A steward found suspicious Siarhei's scarf with the Pahonia coat of arms. The fan had to spend the rest of the match at a police station. No one explained to him why he was detained.

Belarusian fans contacted charter97.org asking to publish the photo of the steward involved in the incident during yesterday's game.

“This 'hero' turned the fan in to the police. We need to find his name so that the fan could complain,” football fans write. “Remember that together we can struggle for our rights and protect our interests. Please share this information on social networks. If you know that clown, write us at belultras@gmai.com.”
