Putin had Ukraine occupation plan in 2013

Vladimir Putin had plans last May to annex a part of Ukraine.

The statement was made by Serhiy Pashinskiy, a former head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, Krym.Realii writes.

i<“We heard it from the people who saw the plan. They are heads of neighbouring states. Putin was sure that Yanukovych would not preserve his power without him. So, he had the plan light: Crimea is pay for loyalty,” he said.

According to him, there was another plan: to occupy the territory of Ukraine from Kharkiv to Odesa. “That plan was on the map. Putin began to implement that plan due to Yanukovych. You may remember that the so called anti-fascist rallies were held in Ukraine last May. I didn't understand it, because we don't have any fascist parties. Even at that time, Putin used the satellite, the Party of Regions and Yanukovych, to prepare grounds for the annexation our territory to 'protect people from fascists',” Pashinskiy said.

Asked if Putin was going to annex Crimea if Yanukovych remained president, Pashinskiy said: “Of course, I am absolutely sure.”
