35 Russian propagandists banned entry to Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine banned 35 journalists of Russian media from entering the country for a period of from 3 to 5 years.

The statement was made by Yuriy Artyomenko, the head of the National Council on Television and Radio, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“We received information that 35 representatives of media have been banned from entering the country. These people have relation to Russian media. The ban was imposed for three years. Some cannot enter the country for five years,” Artyomenko said.

He refused to say the names of blacklisted journalists and said it was within the competence of the Security Service of Ukraine.

On August 28, the National Council gave the Security Service a list of 49 Russian journalists and public figures who were declared non grata in Ukraine.
