Lukashenka’s tycoon’s firm increased milk supplies to Russia by 25%

Part of the raw materials is bought in Poland.

“Biznes-novosti” agency has been informed about that by a deputy director general on ideological work and public relations of “Savushkin produkt” joint stock company Alena Babkina.

“As for the volume of deliveries of whole-milk products (milk, kefir, cottage cheese, sour cream, yoghurts, cottage cheese desserts and so on) and cheeses to the market of Russia, the increase of “Savushkin product” deliveries for the period of August – 18 days of September 2014 as compared to August-18 days of September 2013 was 25%,” A. Babkina noted.

As said by her, at the moment “Savushkin produkt”, which main owner is a tycoon Alyaksandr Mashensky (Moshensky), processes about 1,800 tons of milk a day. The capacity utilization by raw products of own raw materials’ zone is 70%.

As said by Alena Babkina, incomplete capacity utilization of the company by its own raw materials of milk allows it to take additional volumes of raw materials for processing.

“Savushkin produkt” company is not involved in re-export. Buying of pasteurized milk in Poland and its subsequent complete processing in no way contradicts the agreements between Russia and Belarus,” A. Babkina stressed.

As said by her, milk raw materials which are bought in Poland are used for manufacturing of whole-milk products (except milk and cream).

We remind that on September 19 the head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert pointed at “Savushkin produkt” joint stock company as the larger importer of milk raw materials from Poland. According to Denkverkt, from September 1 to September 15 Belarus imported from Poland 3.5 thousand tons of pasteurized cream in total, and 264 tons of cream from Lithuania.
