Photo-fact: Bicycle with St George ribbons near Vitebsk KGB building

A bicycle with a ribbon of St George was noticed near the building of the KGB department for the Vitebsk region.

The bicycle chained to a pole in front of the former governor's house, where the KGB department is now located, could be seen on Monday evening. The so called St George ribbon was attached to the handlebars. It is the first case of using this ribbon on bicycles, vkurier.by writes.

The place is watched by CCTV cameras, so a cyclist couldn't stop there to answer the nature's call.

Until recently, the ribbons were a symbol of the victory in the WWII, but they acquired a different meaning due to events in Ukraine.
