Belarusian authorities getting ready for large-scale sale

The State Property Committee has put 57 state-owned enterprises with the total cost of $850 mln on the plan of privatization for the year 2015.

A report about that was made by the press-service of the committee on Monday.

“The State Property Committee has formed a list of business entities which are offered for privatization in 2015. It includes 57 business companies with a total value of about $850 mln,” the report reads.

The list of the enterprises offered for privatization will be available in February, after the list will be approved by the collegium of the State Property Committee, RIA “Novosti” informs.

The list has been formed on the order of the government, basing upon proposals of appropriate ministries, concerns and regional executive committees, Minsk city executive committee. At the moment conditions for privatization of each of the company are being created.

A plan of actions for privatization of state property in 2015 has been prepared as well. At the moment it is being considered for approval by the involved ministries.
