Exports of Belarusian goods to Russia reduced by $1 bn

Exports of the top ten Belarusian goods to Russia in January – November 2014, as compared to the same period of 2013, have decreased by billions of dollars.

It is confirmed by the data of the official statistics, BelaPAN informs.

Export of tractors and tractor units has decreased by 172.5 mln dollars, milk and cream – by 166 mln dollars, trucks – by 145.9 mln dollars, tyres – by 117.8 mln.

The export of vehicles for harvesting of crops to Russia has decreased considerably as well (by 88.7 mln dollars), metal goods (by 83.3 mln dollars).

Deliveries of sausages and analogous meat goods have been reduced by 70.4 mln dollars, pork – by 60.8 mln dollars.

At the same time, fall of export of TV-sets and buses to Russia has been recorded.

In November 2014, foreign exchange earnings from Belarusian goods’ exports to Russia have decreased by 266.8 mln dollars as compared to October, and were equal to 1 bn 76.2 mln dollars.

According to experts, decrease of foreign exchange earnings from the export of Belarusian goods to Russia has been caused by a number of reasons, in the first place by speeding up of devaluation of the Russian ruble in the 4th quarter of 2014, as a result of which foreign exchange earnings of Belarus in dollar equivalent began to drop.
