Dictator fears of mass protests

Lukashenka stated that Belarus would not abandon the indoctrination of young people.

He said it at the 42 session of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, BelTA says.

"At a time when it starts to use a different kind of political technologies based on the kindling protest movement, the aggressive nationalism against sovereign States we consider the youth groups of patriotic focus, which are aliens to destructive behavior, real partners of the State in maintaining its stability", he said. - Don't expect that we will not take care of our younger generation. It will be safe not homeless. The other States may be the result of what it all may lead to if there is a neglect of young people's leisure activities and their mental development".

Aliaksandr Lukashenka believes that Belarus especially through the younger generation should clearly and distinctly say all foreign "playgoers of politics":

"Your drama in the streets and squares is artificially created and launched scenario. Belarus has seen it. The aim of our enemies is to make the youth a destructive blind force that will help foreign henchmen to break into power and make profit at our future generations' expense and by robbing the country. These challenges and threats should not just be seen but also strongly opposed", he said.

The dictator emphasized that one of the important tasks of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRYU) is to find and breed up the leaders who can lead the Belarusian youth to important for the whole society and state affairs.

"Inadequate level of personnel of the state youth policy is a quite serious issue. We still do not have a clear system of youth policy coordination with other spheres of government activity, Lukashenka underlined. -In spite of numerous programmes, individual reservists from a perspective personnel reserve do not get prospects of promotion".

Speaking earlier at the Congress Andrei Beliakou, the Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRYU, said that in the year of "high political responsibility" the organization would not stand aside.

"Yes, we are not a political party. But it does not mean that we are out of politics. We are concerned about the future of our country. And we intend to take an active part in the preparation and conduct the presidential election campaign", Andrei Beliakou pointed out.
