Lukashenka's Property Management Directorate robs tenants?

Building maintenance costs are overestimated tenfold.

A reader of charter97.org decided to figure our the reason for high rental costs of the premises rented out by the Main Management Department of the Presidential Property Management Directorate. The scheme, which has been working since 2011, is carefully protected by its “authors”.

A delegation from Minsk visited us several times. The costs were reduced sevenfold. But facts of stealing are kept in secret, because they have been robbing leases in this way since 2011. Taking into account that the statute of limitations is three years, the state fears that if information goes public, 5,000 lessees can go to court and recover their money.
