Belarus’ Defence Minister discussed military-political situation with Russian Ambassador

Andrei Raukou (Andrei Ravkov) held a meeting with Aleksandr Surikov.

It took place on January 28 in the Belarusian military agency, the press-service of the Defence Ministry of Belarus informs.

During the meeting the head of the Defence Ministry of Belarus Andrei Raukou and Russia’s Ambassador in Minsk Aleksandr Surikov discussed the military-political situation in Eastern European region, relevant issues of the bilateral military cooperation, as well as the state of the military component of the “union state”.

Following the results of the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of developing mutually beneficial lines of the bilateral military cooperation.
