Russian delegation to PACE doesn't understand why it cannot vote

A complaint from a representative of the Russian delegation about broken voting terminals at a PACE meeting raised a laugh in the room.

The incident took place yesterday. A representative of the Russian delegation said his voting terminal didn't work. “I am far from thinking that it was done on purpose,” he said.

“The Russian delegation has no right to vote,” PACE President Anne Brasseur answered. The reply raised a laugh among other PACE members.

PACE suspended Russia's voting right until April 2015.
