Even internal troops to patrol Minsk tomorrow

The Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Minsk has informed about peculiarities of patrolling during Christmas.

On January 6 and 7 Christmas liturgies are held in 39 Orthodox churches of Minsk (Russian Orthodox churches).

As informed by the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Minks city executive committee, a great influx of believers is expected during church services. In order to maintain safety and security, prevent accidents in the places where religious events are held, it is planned to tighten security measures. Minsk police is to be used for that, as well as internal troops of the Internal Affairs Ministry.

In order to ensure safety of individuals and public, special attention is to be paid to securing order in roads and territories near the places where religious ceremonies are to be held.

On the days when Christmas church services in Orthodox churches are held, the greatest passenger flow is expected at Nyamiha metro station. Additional police forces are to be invited there to guarantee public order and security.
