Without giving any reasons, Pyotr Klyueu was not allowed to leave the country on the border of Poland, when the singer was on the way to the concert “Solidarity with Belarus.”

The musician was to take part in the concert, and he believes that it was the reason why he had been detained. In order to get to the concert, he had to travel 1,300 kilometres through Russia, Latvia and Lithuania, instead of travelling 500 kilometres, “Radio Racyja” informs.

- Obviously, they decided to mock me a little though I had never been a political performer, I mostly sang about social problems, about feelings, love and emotions of an ordinary Belarusian. I was invited to the concert, I could not refuse, as in the current situation, in the context of the situation in Ukraine – we should show solidarity. In the night I was got off the train without any reason explained to me: “We cannot tell you anything,” they said. And I was not allowed to leave the country. Here is the stamp. Now I am going to ask to be explained why I had been banned. Though I had been sure that I could travel abroad, as I visited the migration department several days before and checked. The stamp is very eloquent, it is in Belarusian, and I am pleased at least by that,” – Pyotr Klyueu said.
