Mikalai Autukhovich: On October 11 I Go to Russian Sauna

Elections should be ignored - the government will cheat anyway.

Mikalai Autukhovich, former political prisoner, Vaukavysk businessman, said in his interview with charter97.org.

- Earlier, you intended to boycott the "elections". - What are you going to do on October 11?

- I'll spend it as a usual one: I'll be doing something. Everything has been already said: I do not recognize these "elections". It's an ordinary day, only if I am not waken up two times at night as it used to be while extension of administrative supervision.

During the hearing on supervision extention I said: don't be so mean, I'm not interested in these "elections".

I am "travel banned" and my friends usually visit me on Sundays. I have guests every Sunday. This time someone will arrive, I guess. Recently I had my Russian sauna repaired and I had a rest with my relatives there last weekends. Dzmitry Dashkevich and his wife are invited. / I'll do something, but I'm sure I will ignore the "elections".

- Why will you ignore them?

- I know that nobody is going to tell votes. The authorities even made up a project with an "opposition" candidate to deceive people, give them a piece of hope.

But, as soon as a person steps into a polling station commission, he automatically "votes" for Lukashenka. Therefore, I say to my employees: before going somewhere, you'd better listen to me. Sure, I cannot lead anyone. But many call me and ask: "Mikalaevich, what should I do? We are arguing here..." I always say: guys, calm down. I will try to explain in simple terms.

We're not going to wake up in a new country on October 12. It will be even worse. And one more time we'll feel like being deceived.
