Against the background of the recent news a distrust of the population in the Belarusian currency is growing.

A long queue to one of the branches of Belarusbank in Sukharava district in Minsk has lined up.

The picture was posted on VKontakte social network.

It is possible that Minsk dwellers have come to withdraw their deposits and to buy currency.

We remind that during the last few days a considerable Belarusian ruble’s decline against the dollar and the euro has taken place in Minsk.

It has been also announced that since July 1, 2016 redenomination and imposing a tax on deposits are to take place in Belarus.
