Bakiyev Claims He Was Taken To Belarus By Nazarbayev’s Plane

As said by the former Kyrgyzstan’s president, he arrived to Belarus on the invitation of Lukashenka.

In 2010 ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev arrived to Belarus in a Kazakh plane.

It was said by K. Bakiyev in an interview to the Belarusian portal tut.by.

As said by the former president, he arrived to Belarus on an invitation of Lukashenka. After K. Bakiyev accepted the invitation of the Belarusian dictator, on the order of Nursultan Nazarbayev, an aircraft from Kazakhstan with Spetsnaz aboard was sent on the order of Nazarbayev, and it arrived to Minsk.

K. Bakiyev fled Kyrgyzstan in April 2010, later he was found guilty by the court in several criminal cases, including the killing of protesters on April 7, 2010. In April 2010 during opposition rallies in Bishkek 77 persons were killed, more than 300 were wounded. K. Bakiyev was given a life sentence in absentia in Kyrgyzstan. K. Bakiyev and a number of his family members live in Minsk.
